Perth

Perth is the capital of Western Australia and is the fourth largest city. It has a population of around 2 million and is located on the south-west coast of Australia. It is the most isolated city in the world, but at the same time, you have the opportunity to travel a lot through the desert and find awesome places around the whole Western Australia.
 
In the past, it used to be a little more expensive to live in Perth because of the extra costs involved in transporting goods to the area. Yet today, Perth is thriving and Western Australia is the country’s fastest growing economy thanks to its vast supply of mineral resources.
 
About the weather, we can say that Perth is hot, for the most part of the year. Summers are around 36° heat, with 10 hours of sunshine a day and hardly any rain. Like Brisbane, winters are mild and the rest of the time it’s hot, sunny and clear blue skies for the best part of it. Living in the most isolated city in the world is a good excuse to plan a long road trip around the entire State.
